La regla de oro (The golden rule)

Una de las leyes espirituales que gobierna sobre nuestra vida es la conocida como la "Ley de siembra y cosecha". Esta ley determina que toda acción tiene una reacción o que toda semilla que se siembra producirá un fruto.

Gálatas 6:9 (RVR 1960)

No os engañéis; Dios no puede ser burlado: pues todo lo que el hombre sembrare, eso también segará.

La Biblia enseña que TODO lo que sembramos producirá una cosecha.

Permíteme presentarte 5 verdades acerca de la ley de siembra y cosecha:

1. Funciona de manera automática.

2. Es ineludible.

3. Todo lo que pensamos, decimos y hacemos es una forma de semilla (pensamientos, palabras y acciones).

4. La ley opera sobre lo bueno y lo malo (buenas semillas y malas semillas).

5. Su efecto (positivo o negativo) alcanza a quien sembró y/o a su descendencia y a terceros que pueden ser afectados por la cosecha.

Esto significa, que absolutamente todos nuestros pensamientos, palabras y acciones, (positivos o negativos) producirán una cosecha que afectará nuestra vida, la sociedad y a las futuras generaciones.

¿Entiendes el poder que tienes para afectar (positiva o negativamente) el mundo en el que vives?

Jesús en su infinita sabiduría nos dejó una sencilla pero poderosa tarea. Algunos la conocen como la regla de oro. Esta regla tiene dos instrucciones específicas.

1. Sembrar el bien. (Haz con otros lo que quieras que hagan contigo)

Mateo 7:12 (RVR 1960)

Así que, todas las cosas que queráis que los hombres hagan con vosotros, así también haced vosotros con ellos; porque esto es la ley y los profetas.

2. No sembrar el mal. (No hagas con otros lo que no quieres que hagan contigo)

Mateo 7:1-2 (RVR 1960)

No juzguéis, para que no seáis juzgados. Porque con el juicio con que juzgáis, seréis juzgados, y con la medida con que medís, os será medido.

Todos tenemos 2 bolsas llenas de semillas. Una bolsa tiene buenas semillas, la otra, malas semillas. Cada día debemos escoger qué semillas sembrar.

Antes de pensar, hablar y actuar, considera los efectos de las semillas que sembrarás. Lo que hagas a otros te será hecho a ti.

The golden rule

One of the spiritual laws that governs our lives is the one known as the "law of sowing and reaping." This law states that every action has a reaction or that any seed you sow will produce a fruit.

Galatians 6:9 (NKJV)

Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.

The Bible teaches that EVERYTHING we sow will produce a harvest.

Let me introduce five truths about the law of sowing and reaping:

1. It works automatically.

2. It is inescapable.

3. Everything we think, say and do is a seed (thoughts, words and actions).

4. The law operates over good and bad (good seeds and bad seeds).

5. Its effect (positive or negative) reaches the sower and/or his offspring and third parties that may be affected by the harvest as well.

This means that absolutely all our thoughts, words and actions (positive or negative) will produce a harvest that will affect our life, society and future generations.

Do you understand the power you have to affect (positively or negatively) the world in which you live?

Jesus in his infinite wisdom gave us a simple but powerful assignment. Some know it as the Golden Rule. This rule has two specific instructions.

1. Sow good. (Do unto others as you would have them do to you)

Mathew 7:12 (NKJV)

Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.

2. Do not sow evil. (Do not do to others what you do not want them do to you)

Mathew 7:1-2 (NKJV)

Judge not, that you be not judged. For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you.

We all have 2 bags full with seeds. One bag has good seeds; the other bag has bad seeds. Every day we have to choose which seeds to sow.

Before you think, speak and act, considers the effects of the seeds you sow. What you do to others, will be done to you.
