Las dos verdades (Two great truths)

Por lo cual Dios también le exaltó hasta lo sumo, y le dio un nombre que es sobre todo nombre.

Este poderoso pasaje (visto en todo su contexto) revela las dos verdades más importantes que los seres humanos en su mayoría han pasado por alto a lo largo de la historia. Creo firmemente que si todos los seres humanos tuviéramos la revelación y el entendimiento de estas verdades, el mundo como lo conocemos hoy sería totalmente diferente. Habría menos guerras, pobreza, depresión, desespero, suicidios, divorcios, etc.

La primera verdad y quizá la más importante y evidente es que Jesús ha recibido un nombre que es sobre todo nombre. Un nombre que no tiene igual, y ante el cual se doblará toda rodilla (del cielo, de la tierra y de las profundidades) y toda lengua lo confesará como Señor.

Ante esta verdad, los seres humanos tenemos 2 opciones. La primera es reconocer a Jesús voluntariamente mientras estamos en la tierra y como consecuencia recibir salvación y vida eterna. La segunda opción es negarnos a reconocer a Cristo y esperar la muerte física. Luego cuando Cristo regrese, resucitaremos para ser juzgados y tendremos que (inevitablemente) reconocer el Señorío de Cristo. El problema de esta última opción, es que reconocer a Cristo será una consecuencia de haber evidenciado su poder y no un acto de fe para salvación, en otras palabras, será demasiado tarde.

Tú decides, o reconoces a Jesús y le entregas tu vida para salvación HOY. O esperas hasta morir y lo confiesas después para perdición.

La segunda verdad que veo en este pasaje (específicamente en el verso 8 de FIlipenses 2), es que Jesús fue exaltado como consecuencia de haberse humillado. Jesús no fue exaltado por ser Dios, Él obtuvo ese lugar de privilegio por haberse humillado (siendo Dios) por completo.

Si los seres humanos entendiéramos que el camino al éxito y la verdadera grandeza está en humillarnos para servirnos unos a otros, y no en exaltarnos e imponernos unos sobre otros, el mundo sería diferente.

La única manera de poder vivir una vida de servicio genuino, es entregándonos por completo a Jesús y permitiendo que Él gobierne nuestras vidas.

No esperes más tiempo. Entrégale te vida a JESÚS.

Two great truths

Philippians 2:9 (NKJV)

Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name.

This powerful passage (seen in its full context) reveals two important truths that humans have mostly ignored throughout history. I firmly believe that if all human beings had the revelation and understanding of these truths, the world, as we know it today would be completely different. There would be fewer wars, poverty, depression, despair, suicide, divorce, etc.

The first truth and perhaps the most important and obvious one, is that Jesus has received a name, which is above all name. A name that has no equal, and before whom every knee shall bow (in heavens and on earth and in the depths), and every tongue will confess Him as Lord.

Faced with this fact, humans have 2 options. The first is to recognize Jesus willingly while we are on earth and consequently receive salvation and eternal life. The second option is to refuse to recognize Christ and wait for physical death. Then when Christ returns, we will rise to be judged and we will (inevitably) recognize the Lordship of Christ. The problem with this last option is that you will recognize Christ as a consequence of the evidence of his power; and not as an act of faith for salvation. In other words, it will be too late.

You decide, you can recognize Jesus TODAY and give your life to him and be saved. Or wait until you die and confess him for perdition.

The second truth I see in this passage (specifically in Philippians 2 verse 8) is that Jesus was exalted because of his humiliation. Jesus was not exalted because he is God; He earned that place of privilege because he humiliated himself voluntarily (being God).

If humans understood that the road to success and true greatness is humility to serve one another, and not arrogance to impose one over the other, the world would be a different place.

The only way to live a life of genuine service, is surrendering our lives completely to Jesus and allowing Him to govern our lives.

Do not wait any longer. Surrender your life to Jesus.
