Escoge bien (Choose life)

Deuteronomio 30:19 (RVR 1960)

A los cielos y a la tierra llamo por testigos hoy contra vosotros, que os he puesto delante la vida y la muerte, la bendición y la maldición; escoge, pues, la vida, para que vivas tú y tu descendencia.

La palabra “escoge” en el verso anterior viene de la palabra hebrea “baw-khar’" o bachar que significa apunta, selecciona, decide, únete, aceptable.

Las decisiones que diariamente tomamos afectan nuestro destino, esto es parte fundamental de la ley de siembra y cosecha que vemos en la Biblia y que indiscutiblemente opera en el universo.

Las personas pierden mucho tiempo y se desgastan en su mente pensando en las cosas del pasado y en el futuro que desean. Pero hay una realidad, y ésta es que solamente podremos afectar nuestro destino por medio de las decisiones del presente.

Dios ha puesto delante de nosotros las bendiciones y la vida; sin embargo, también encontramos la muerte y la maldición. Es común encontrar personas que reniegan en contra de Dios por la vida que tienen y por los males que les vienen, pero la realidad es que Dios ha puesto delante de nosotros la bendición y nos ha dejado el manual de instrucciones para alcanzarla. Este manual es Su Palabra la Biblia.

Dios es tan bueno, que nos ha puesto las bendiciones disponibles para nosotros, nos ha dado las instrucciones para alcanzarlas y como si eso fuera poco, nos ha regalado su Espíritu Santo para que more en nosotros y nos habilite para seguirlas (las instrucciones).

Sin embargo, hay algo importante. A pesar de lo anterior, TÚ DECIDES. Lo único que el Señor no puede hacer por ti, es decidir. El nos ha dado la libertad para escoger bien o mal. Por eso, si deseas cambiar tu futuro, deja de lamentarte por el pasado o de vivir como un soñador (soñar no es malo). Empieza hoy por decidir bien. Toma las decisiones correctas que te llevarán al lugar correcto.

Choose life

Deuteronomy 19:30 (NKJV)

I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live.

The word “choose” in the prior verse comes from the Hebrew word “bachar “baw-khar’” which means select, appoint, choose, join, require.

Our daily decisions affect our destiny, this is a fundamental part of the law of sowing and reaping we see in the Bible and which undoubtedly operates in the universe.

People waste a lot of time and wear off in their minds thinking about things of the past and in the future they want. But there is a reality, and it is that we can only affect our destiny by the decisions made on the present.

God has placed before us blessings and life; however, we also find death and curse. It is common to find people who complaint against God for the life they have and the bad things that come to them, but the reality is that God has set before us his blessing and gave us the instruction manual to conquer them. This manual is His Word the Bible.

God is so good, that He has every blessing available to us, has given us directions to reach them and as if that were not enough, has given us His Holy Spirit to dwell in us and enable us to follow His instructions.

However, there is something important. Despite this, YOU DECIDE. The only thing that the Lord cannot do for you, is decide. He has given us freedom to choose right or wrong. So if you want to change you’re future, stop whining about the past or dreaming about the future (dreaming is not bad). Start today. Decide well. Make the right decisions that will lead you to the right place.
