El camino, la verdad y la vida (The way, the truth and the life)

En el tiempo presente, la espiritualidad se ha vuelto parte de la vida de muchos; sin embargo siendo “espirituales”, las personas están cada vez más lejos de Dios. El mundo, bajo la influencia del príncipe de este mundo, presenta un sin número de mentiras que parecen ser la verdad para que la gente se aleje de Dios y no reconozca al único que puede darnos vida eterna, Jesucristo.

Juan 14:6 (RVR 1960)

Jesús le dijo: Yo soy el camino, y la verdad, y la vida; nadie viene al Padre, sino por mí.

El refrán dice “todos los caminos conducen a Dios”, sin embargo, esto no fue lo que dijo nuestro Señor Jesús. La declaración hecha por el Señor demuestra claramente que no hay ningún otro camino que conduzca a Dios el Padre aparte del Hijo mismo. Jesús es el camino al Padre, la verdadera salvación y solo Él nos puede dar vida. Cristo es la verdad y todo lo que no se alinee con Él y con su palabra es una GRAN MENTIRA.

Juan 6:66-68 (RVR 1960)

Desde entonces muchos de sus discípulos volvieron atrás, y ya no andaban con él. Dijo entonces Jesús a los doce: ¿Queréis acaso iros también vosotros? Le respondió Simón Pedro: Señor, ¿a quién iremos? Tú tienes palabras de vida eterna.

En este pasaje se revela una historia donde algunos de los “discípulos” de Jesús lo abandonaron. Jesús entonces les pregunto a los demás si querían irse ellos también. Pedro, recibió revelación de parte del Espíritu Santo y supo que SOLAMENTE Jesús es la respuesta al problema del hombre. Jesús es EL HIJO DE DIOS, Él es la semilla incorruptible que vino a este mundo para que nosotros pudiéramos cosechar vida y vida en abundancia.

En nuestro mundo, una de las formas de robo más comunes es la falsificación y el engaño. Algunos falsifican billetes, otros relojes, ropa, joyas, piezas de arte y cualquier cosa de valor que se pueda copiar. La realidad, es que aunque hay todo tipo de “calidades” en la falsificación, hay algunas copias que son extremadamente parecidas o idénticas al original, el hecho de que sean iguales no quiere decir que sean la verdadera pieza.

Proverbios 14:12 (RVR 1960)

Hay camino que al hombre le parece derecho; Pero su fin es camino de muerte.

La Biblia dice que Satanás, se presenta como ángel de luz (2 Corintios 11:14). Él es un buen imitador; es tan bueno que ha logrado que muchos tomen caminos que parecen rectos, pero en realidad conducen a la muerte. Ten presente esto, no todos los caminos conducen a Dios; pero hay algunos tan pero tan parecidos al real, que la gente cree ir en la dirección correcta.

Si has creído erróneamente que todos los caminos conducen a Dios, te invito a que le pidas a Jesús que se manifieste en tu vida y te enseñe Su verdad. Si crees en Jesús, asegúrate de vivir una vida que demuestre que Jesús es el camino, la verdad y la vida. Tus hijos, amigos, familiares y todos los que te rodean, deben saber por tu predicación y tu acción, que solamente Jesús puede dar vida eterna y salvación.

The way, the truth and the life

At the present time, spirituality has become part of the lives of many; however even though people are "spiritual", they are also each time more distant from God. The world, under the influence of the prince of this world, presents a number of lies which seem to be the truth, so people go away from God and do not recognize the only one who can give us eternal life, Jesus Christ.

John 14:6 (NKJV)

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

The saying goes "all roads lead to God," however, this was not what our Lord Jesus said. The statement made by the Lord clearly shows that there is no other path that leads to God the Father apart from the Son himself. Jesus is the way to the Father, the true salvation and only He can give us life. Christ is the truth and all that does not align with Him and His word is a BIG LIE.

John 6:66-68 (NKJV)

From that time many of His disciples went back and walked with Him no more. Then Jesus said to the twelve, “Do you also want to go away?” But Simon Peter answered Him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.

This passage tells a story where some of the "disciples" of Jesus abandoned Him. Jesus then asked the others if they wanted to leave as well. Peter received revelation from the Holy Spirit and knew that ONLY Jesus is the answer to the problem of mankind. Jesus is the SON OF GOD; He is the incorruptible seed that came into this world so that we could reap life and life in abundance.

In our world, one of the most common forms of theft is through falsification and deception. Some counterfeit bills, other watches, clothing, jewelry, artwork and anything of value that can be copied. The reality is that while there is all sorts of "quality" in the forgery business, there are some copies that are very similar or identical to the original; the fact that the copy is identical doesn't mean it is the real deal.

Proverbs 14:12 (NKJV)

There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death.

The Bible says that Satan transforms himself as an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14). He is a good imitator; he is so good that he has brought many to believe the way which seems right, but actually leads to death. Keep in mind that not all roads lead to God; but there are some so alike to the real deal, that people believe they are going in the right direction.

If you have mistakenly believed that all roads lead to God, I invite you to ask Jesus to manifest in your life and show you His truth. If you believe in Jesus, be sure to live a life that demonstrates that Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. Your children, friends, relatives and all those around you, should know by your preaching and your action, that only Jesus can give eternal life and salvation.
